Phillip W. “Trey” Bentley, III
Founding Director
Trey Bentley is a fourth generation automobile dealer in Northern Alabama. His great- grandfather started an automobile service center in Huntsville in 1928 and his family has been serving Huntsville in the automobile industry ever since. Trey is Huntsville High Graduate and Graduated from Auburn University in 1987 with a degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation from Auburn University Trey attended the National Automobiles Dealers Associations dealer candidate academy. Currently Trey is serving as chairman of the board of the Automobile Dealers Association of Alabama.
Trey operates Bentley Pontiac GMC, Bentley Cadillac SAAB and Bentley Hyundai all located in Huntsville. He is also the Chevrolet Cadillac dealer in Florence Alabama. Like his father who was a founding director of Bank Alabama in Huntsville, Trey looks forward to serving Huntsville and Decatur in the banking industry.
Trey is also actively involved in the community, having served on the boards of the Better Business Bureau, the Arts Council, Huntsville Hospital Foundation and the Downtown Rescue Mission. He was a member of the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class 13.
Trey is married to Samantha Hereford Bentley who is also a Huntsville native. They have three children, Brett, Wind and Chase, Trey and his family attend Central Presbyterian Church where he has served on the Board of Deacons.
