Jim D. Caudle, Jr.
Founding Director
Jim Caudle is Chairman and CEO of United Plating Inc., with eleven production facilities for metal finishing, anodizing, and painting. United Plating, Inc., maintains ISO 9001:2000 certification. Jim is a member of Bosch Supplier Leadership Team, The Alabama Automobile Manufacturer’s Association and the Automotive Industry Action Group.
Jim holds a BS from Auburn University. He is past Huntsville Chairman of the Auburn Alumni Association Scholarship Committee.
Jim is a member of the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce Existing Business Committee, Huntsville Leadership Class 8, National Association of Metal Finishers, Young Presidents Organization, Young Business Leaders of Huntsville, and Ramey Forum. He is a past President of the Huntsville Acme Club and served on the Board of the Huntsville Metropolitan YMCA. He has worked with the National Cancer Society in the “Biggest Rat in Town Campaign” and The Multiple Sclerosis Society as a Fundraiser Captain. He is a member of the National Diabetes Association. Jim is a supporter and contributor to The Big Oak Ranch for homeless children.
With Tina, his wife of 19 years, Jim has three children. Jim and his family are members of First United Methodist Church, where he is involved and has previously taught youth Sunday school. He has contributed to the Boy Scouts of America and is active in Indian Guides and Native Sons and Daughters. He is a Capital Campaign volunteer for Randolph School, where his children attend. He has coached youth basketball and soccer for several years.
Jim serves on the Progress Bank Audit Committee.
