J.E.P. Buchanan

A native of Huntsville, AL, J.E.P. Buchanan has 19 years of banking experience in Huntsville, AL. His banking experience primarily consists of commercial lending and credit quality of banks’ commercial loan portfolios. J.E.P. received a BBA in Finance from Auburn University.
J.E.P. currently serves on the Huntsville Eastern League Board of Directors. He is a past board member of the Arts Council Advisory Board, Boy Scouts Board, and Girls, Inc. Board. J.E.P. is a member of the Huntsville Rotary, and was a member of Class 19 of the Huntsville-Madison County Leadership Huntsville. J.E.P. is very active in civic sports and coaches baseball, basketball, football and soccer.
J.E.P. is married to Huntsville native Sheri Kramer Buchanan. Sheri is a homemaker and enjoys volunteering at their children’s elementary school and at Southwood Presbyterian Church, where J.E.P. and his family attend. Sheri also serves on the Board of Directors for the Junior League of Huntsville. They have three children: James, 11; Nathan, 9; and Anna Chason, 7. J.E.P.’s other interests include golf, hunting, and fishing.
J.E.P. serves on the Loan/Executive Committee and the Investments – Asset/Liability Committee of the bank.
