David Nast

President/CEO
David Nast is a career banker with 25 years of experience in bank
management, including senior leadership positions in consumer, business,
mortgage and wealth management banking. He holds BS and MBA degrees
from Jacksonville State University as well as Certificates from the
Louisiana State University Banking School of the South and Georgia State
University’s Leadership Institute. He also holds the Series 7, Series
66 and Series 24 Securities licenses.
David is married to Lee, a homemaker, community volunteer and the
fitness director at the First Baptist Church of Huntsville. Lee's
interests include the Huntsville Museum of Art, Senior Horizons and
volunteering at their younger sons' schools. Their four sons are Ryan, Brent, Clay and Bauer. Ryan
and Brent are University of Alabama graduates. Clay and Bauer attend school at Huntsville
High and Huntsville Middle School, respectively.
David’s involvement in the community includes serving on past boards for Junior Achievement, The Land Trust of Huntsville/Madison County, Boys and Girls Club of Huntsville, North Alabama Boys Scouts Council, Huntsville City Schools Foundation, Huntsville Country Club, Leadership Huntsville, Huntsville High School Booster Club and the Huntsville Hospital Development Council. He has been involved in youth sports for many years as a coach and volunteer. David is a member of the Huntsville Rotary Club and serves on the Huntsville Sports Commission. His other interests and activities include golf, duck hunting, fishing and conservation issues.
David serves on the Progress Bank Loan/Executive and Investments-Asset/Liability Management Committee.
