Dabsey Maxwell

Dabsey Maxwell comes to Progress Bank with extensive experience in financial management. Her work background includes leadership roles in a holding company with annual sales exceeding $500 million and a market capitalization of $2.5 billion. In addition, she worked on a turnaround team which moved her division from the worst performing in the country to the best for her years there. She got her start working for Ernst and Young in Atlanta where she specialized in auditing community banks.
Dabsey was raised in Sylacauga, Alabama. She is married to Dan, a Huntsville native and local residential home builder. She has three children, two daughters, 9 and 3, and a son, 13, who are active in school and youth sports.
Dabsey holds a BS degree with Highest Honors in Business Administration from Auburn University. An Accounting major, she is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Dabsey was a member of Leadership Huntsville/Madison County Focus Class 20 and Leadership Huntsville/Madison County Class 23. She is currently the chair for Education Day for Class 25. She is a member of the Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission Board (Space & Rocket Center) and the Huntsville Museum of Art Foundation Board.
In addition to her community involvement and her children's activities, she enjoys travel, theater, reading and Auburn Football.
Dabsey serves on the Progress Bank Loan/Executive and Investments-Asset/Liability Management Committees.
